On Sunday, April 10, a single vehicle wreck in Turner County led to the deaths of two juveniles.
According to Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened at mile marker 77 northbound on the Interstate 75 at around 6 p.m. A Jeep Liberty SUV which was being driven by 41 year old Stephanie Seagraves of Powder Springs, lost control and veered off the roadway rolling several times. There were three passengers in the rear seat and they were all ejected. Storm James aged 16 and 13 year old Diamond Harrison were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Neechelle James, aged 21 of Indianapolis, Indiana who was the front seat passenger and Seagraves both had to be extracted from the vehicle and were taken to Tift Regional Medical Center and a 12 year old girl was taking to a hospital in Macon by air transport.
